This is the top product when it comes to air filters. The idea of the CDA filtering system is to enhance fuel combustion in the engine with the aim of gaining power. This is best achieved when cold air is brought into the process to accelerate combustion.
The BMC CDA system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing a washable filtering element. When the existing (OE) air box is replaced with the BMC CDA, cold air is directly channelled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine with a very small pressure drop (this is a patented system). The system also includes a black alloy ducting for connecting to an air intake on the front of the car. Each type is also available in different diameters ensuring perfect connections.
Dyno and Datron Laser tests demonstrate the great performance of BMC CDA filtering system.
Designed and produced by Italian engineers, BMC air filters can be used in extreme conditions, giving you the highest performance without compromises. A specific production system based on soft rubber moulding gives rise to the now familiar red BMC filters. You’ll see them on some of the most important Formula1 and LeMans teams. You’ll see them on some of the most important Formula1 and LeMans teams, Ferrari, Toyota, Williams BMW, Prost, Sauber, Minardi, Porsche and Audi. They are testament enough to the superior performance and quality of the product.
